The are wide-bodied and suitable for large homes or other premises. The extension to our Galway showhouse is a Hibernia 63 which was added in 1996. A wide house like the Hibernia type is very energy efficient with a small cold surface area in relation to the floor area. It can be challenging to design a plan that is not too dark in the middle. Light-shafts may be added so that rooms in the center of the house can have access to natural light. |
