A customer designed Baltica 126 that is made a little wider, 8400mm instead of the standard 7800mm, and with 40 degree roof and the new high truss will be built in County Clare in November. The higher walls in these houses gives a little different appearance with more wall visible over the windows. Alu-zinc/ galvanized steel rain-gutters and no usage of poisonous lead gives good opportunities for rainwater-harvesting if desired.
The new roof-truss makes it possible to create more floor-area upstairs at minimal cost within the same foot-print. It is done by making the external walls higher (at minimal extra cost) and let the upstairs floor hang down between the walls to give better headroom for the converted attic.
