Width: 10.9m (36ft) Standard roof pitch 30°, increased roof pitch 35°

The Hibernia model is a wide-bodied building and suitable for large homes or other premises. Our office in Galway is a Hibernia 164. A wide (deep) house like the Hibernia type is very energy efficient with a small cold surface area in relation to the floor area. It can be challenging to design a plan that is not too dark in the middle. Light-shafts may be added so that rooms in the center of the house can have access to natural light.
