In May of 2024 Scandinavian Homes completed manufacturing its 400th house in our factory in Lysekil, Sweden. When an opportunity arose, we celebrated this in Lysekil, bringing together our crew from Sweden, Ireland and Germany.
The weather was on our side and we used this weekend to exchange new ideas, improvements and to strengthen our team.
Scandinavian Homes currently produces 22 houses per year, so if the current economic climate continues, house 500 may become built by the end of 2028.
Our new house catalogue 2024/2025 with a total of 24 contemporary designs & plans is now available free of charge from our website. It now also includes four two-storey designs with more to follow in the near future. You are welcome to modify, adjust or simply use as an inspiration for your own ideas. Contact our architect Peter H. Lohr for custom plans tailored to your individual needs.

We welcome our new team member Fiona Connell!
We are happy to announce that Fiona has joined our team recently to support our increased demands in interests and sales of our products. Fiona is actually one of our latest house owners, house number 361 – K162-30-FPC, so she will bring with her a great knowledge and experiences of her own Scandinavian Homes construction project..
Fiona will be located in our offices in Moycullen and she will be mostly involved in sales and administration.

Another Swede joins the company.
We welcome Alexander Olsson to our team. He recently moved from Sweden to Ireland to work with us at Scandinavian Homes. He comes from a background of construction and manufacturing conservatories. He will be working in the office as a construction administrator.
Certified Passive House
House 301, a Nordica 146, which was built in 2017, has been awarded the certificate of compliance according to the requirements set by the Passive House Institute of Germany.
